Welcome, Quilters!
I’m so excited to share my new Lori Kennedy Quilts website with you! For the past several months, I’ve been working with the team at Bluehost to create a new website that is both beautiful and easy to navigate. Along the way, I took my time to review old posts and reminisce about the last ten years of quilt teaching. One thing is clear, though we may think quilting is about fabric, thread and notions-it is so much more. Quilting is about the people! The joy of quilting comes from sharing-sharing our quilts, sharing our talents, sharing our ideas. I have really enjoyed sharing quilting with all of YOU-both online and in-person! Here’s to bigger and better quilting in the next ten years!

New Features
There are many updated features that will be useful as we grow the website. For example, scroll down on the Home Page to find a list of categories (marked with a #). Simply click the link to find more tutorials. Categories (#subject) are also found at the bottom of each tutorials page. Use this feature to go directly to all of the tutorials in that category. To find my books and current classes, use the teal buttons, or click on the logos of AQ Magazine and WeAllSew blog where you can learn more about machine quilting.
A Fresh Start!
You may notice a very slimmed down site with only a few of the motifs, projects and tutorials from LKQ1.0. This was an unfortunate, but unavoidable consequence of moving my website,(which was also unfortunate and unavoidable!) However, new beginnings bring new opportunities! LKQ 2.0 provides an opportunity to refresh old content and blend it with new ideas. Please follow along as we grow the site together!

I will be moving over many of the motifs, projects and lessons from LKQ 1.0 every week. Check back frequently to find your favorites! Better yet, SUBSCRIBE to my newsletter to get tips, tutorials, product reviews, inspiration and more delivered directly to your inbox!
A Work in Progress
I am very excited about my new website, but it is a work-in-progress. As we use the site, I plan to add new features and make changes whenever we find better ways of working. Please let me know what you like and what you would like to add. I will thoughtfully consider all ideas!
